As UK has tightens its VISA rules so is it still going to be one of the preferred study destination?
In my opinion the decision is not going to affect those students who wish to study in UK, and returned back to India once their studies gets over, it will affect those students who wish to work in UK, once their study is over.
Moreover UK is a home to some of the best universities in the world, the

@||Excel|| I agree to your points, but most of the students prefer to go UK for getting a job there once there studies are over, but as per the new VISA rules the students need to return back to India as soon as their studies are over, so definitely this policy of UK, will surely lead to less numbe

UK has strict rules for visa? it may be but not as much tough as US.....on my personal experience

Preference lies in Language, Time & Quality. UK has proved itself to be comforatble to Indians. I guess it will remain the preffered destination.

I believe students who prefer US strictly as a study destination, would not suffer much but those who take up study abroad in US as a option merely to secure a job afterwards or even greater than this to crack "PR- Permanent Residency"....a difficult task. US officials would not let that happen as

Good for India. At least people will finally have to use their new acquired skills and knowledge in India now as they will not be able to stay in UK for long. UK universities, however, are protesting the move as they are afraid of losing big bucks from international students.
