at 68%ile in cmat'16, should i apply?@SC category and what are the best courses in terms of placement?

There is no reservation in XIME. and the cutoff for this year is 70%tile in cmat. so I am afraid you havent cleared the cutoff. As for the branches, HR is the flagship program and does well every year with 100% placements but finance gives you good offers.
