70% weightage is given to the nmat exam.
10 % weightage is given to academics.
5% for your work experience.
So if you perform well in the exam and clear the cutoff, then you would be called for GD/PI. Your performance on these events would decide your final chances of conversion. -
The eligibility criteria for NMAT is a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks. So you are eligible to apply for NMAT.
Also generally a maximum of 10% weightage is given to academics and a maximum of 5% weightage is given to work experience. The remaining 85% weightage is given to your NMAT score, CD and PI. So what actually makes the difference is that 85% which is in your hands. Also you have a good amount of workex. Work hard, prepare well for the exam and you will definitely be through. :)
