B.E or B.Tech?
I have heard that B.E is more theoretical and B.Tech is more practical? Is this true? If so which is a better option for doing mechanical engineering and how is the option better over the other ?

There is no difference between these two degree courses BE and B-Tech. Both are engineering degrees and their scope and value are the same. You will never be rejected higher education or a job just because you are a BE and not a B-tech holder or vice versa. The only difference in the name is because

There is not much the differences in BE and B.Tech.
Tech refers for Technology and E refers for Engineering. So Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Technology.
It seems, you got the difference from other web links like more theory or, practical. NITs or, IITs were giving B.tech degree but now,

There is no such difference both are almost same. and there scope in future is also bright so. no matters which course you opt for. choose any among them. what matters is from where you pursue the courses. you can google some universities like NIIT University. Jagganath University . LPU for more inf
