B Pharma degree makes you eligible for registration as a pharmacist in India provided the college from which you graduated is approved by the Pharmacy Council Of India (PCI). If you want to become pharmacist then it is a right choice. B Pharma also open avenue of Sales Marketing , R&D in Drugs & Pharma companies. It is a good career course.

Yes Indeed it is good choice. Other than what Mr Sunil mentioned you can pursue M.tech after B.Pharm but no B.tech student could pursue M.pharm. You can work as QC/QA in companies. Indian Government also recruits for Drug inspectors at regular intervals. Its a very career oriented course.
Caution should be taken while choosing college PCI approval is must for a college offering pharmacy. Look for some good colleges like BHU, Jamia Hamdard,Lovely Professional University, etc. for bright career. Best of Luck.
