If we look at the job responsibilities of a nurse for eg
assessing and planning nursing care requirements
    providing pre- and post-operation care
monitoring and administering medication and intravenous infusions
taking patient samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures
    writing records
    supervising junior staff
    organising workloads
providing emotional support to patients and relatives
    tutoring student nurses
they are much more as compared to what job responsibilities a nutritionist has. Hence i believe the scope of being a nurse is more as compared to a nutritionist

According to me, both nursing and nutrition have equal opportunities because both relates to well being of the patient , whether its about monitoring the diet or about taking care through other activities

I think career opportunities are more in nutrition as compared to nursing because as a nutritionist you can work in the fitness training centers, gyms and you can even work as a freelancer but in nursing you need an hospital setting to work, so the scope after nursing is limited .

    Hi,
    For Nutrition:
After B.Sc. can opt for M.Sc. or Post-graduate Diploma in Dietetics and Public Health Nutrition
    For Nursing:
After finishing their studies, graduates of nursing can go for M.Sc (Nursing). There are lots of specialized areas for a person to train. A few of them are:
    Community Health
    Medical-Surgical
    Pediatrics Obstetrics and Gynecology
    Psychiatry
