the UGC wants 55% in the qualifying degree and NET wherever the test is conducted.There are no other problems for you.

Aspiring teachers have several options available to them. Some teachers begin their careers by earning a bachelor's degree in education from an accredited college or university. Also all prospective teachers must participate in professional fieldwork, often included in education degree programs

It has to be M Ed. B Tech qualifieds are no candidates for doing B Ed, you know?
