Chandigarh University is better for CSE as it has various specializations in CSE itself. CU provides better internship and placement options. It is awarded NAAC A+. The syllabus is all updated and modern. The faculty is highly qualified. Chandigarh University has a great learning environment. The fee is affordable and transparent. It has a student exchange programme as well, as it has collaborations with many foreign universities. Good practical Exposure. Highly equipped labs. CU has set a new record as one of India's the largest IT companies Wipro hired a record number of 394 students in 2018-19 which happens to be the highest in India, while the other multinational giants IBM, Mindtree, and Capgemini hire 196, 101 and 207 students during campus placements which is the highest selection made by the companies in North India. The 2018-19 placement session was a dream run for Chandigarh University students, with more than 627 top MNCs on campus making 6314 offers with the highest offered package being Rs.31.77 LPA, Recently offered 45 LPA package for CSE. There are lots of opportunities for B.Tech CSE students in the market or at anywhere in today this fast pace. IT sector providing best placement at all over the world and India also provide very best IT sector jobs with good salary package. Many companies/organizations are present here for select Students, that's means if you don't have interest to study higher and want to do job after B.Tech CSE then IT sector is the best for you. Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. , Number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. According to me Chandigarh University is the best for B.Tech CSE. There have been more than 60 MNCs which are recruiting Engineering students from Chandigarh University, IITs and NIITs where there have been 40+ MNCs who have commonly recruited fresh talent from Universities School of Business at Chandigarh University and Iims. Apart from it, some leading multinationals which regularly recruit students include Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Hitachi Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Grail Research, TAFE, John Deere, Schindler, Deepak Nitrate, Mindtree, The Taj, Oberoi, Hyatt, Vistara and JET Airways. Most of the Engineering Colleges in India don't focus much on developing the overall personality of the student. Anyways Your decision making should not be on the basis of placements, packages but on quality of students ( your peer group), faculty, infrastructure, curriculum, and the alumni network. My brother has completed B.Tech CSE from Lovely Professional University and currently he is working in Amazon with the highest package. So through him I come to know about University and few other things which I would like to discuss:- LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. Students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. The placements on the campus is good enough. It is the best university in the North of India to give the best packages in B.Tech (CSE). During the time of my brother induction, I have seen a few students who got placed in the companies with a package of 42 LPA. The university placement drive undoubtedly works hard for the students to get placed. Just before Final Year of your course, a special team called School of Professional Enhancement will prepare students for upcoming placements and you won't get a day off from placements, every day a company comes to campus. Its just up to you how well you can do and never lose Patience you will get placed, you just have to prepare well for that. The university has tie-ups Oracle to train us better and with huge companies for placements like Google, Microsoft, Capgemini, Amazon, JOSH technology group, Tech Mahindra, TCS and others who visit every year offering attractive packages to students. The average package is around 3.5lakhs - 4.5lakhs p. a. The deserving ones are also seen ceasing the opportunity by getting placed with a whopping package of 20-25 LPA. Hello, Sameeeksha, As per my experience, LPU is the best place for a career. I have completed my CSE from the LPU in the year 2019. I have not faced any kind of disappointment at any phase. LPU provides the beautiful infrastructure and all required resources to students and staff. I highly recommend that if you really want to make your career with a good level of education then you should go for LPU. My Decision for LPU was the best decision of my life. LPU provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. LPU gave me an extra edge in everything. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure, or other facilities. The best thing is LPU gives the career pathways like I was interested in placements and I opted then university gave me all required and important inputs and the result was my placement in a good MNC with Great Package. The maximum package was 31 Lacs per annum in that year. On another hand, my batchmates who were interested in higher studies than university gave all required inputs according to them. So in short LPU is actually Nourishing the students for a better future. Rest Haters are everywhere but LPU is the Best place for a good career as per my experience of 4 years over there.
