You degree/diploma in Animation would teach you many subjects like Pre Production (Design etc), Post Production (Editinf, VFx etc), Production (Maya etc). Thus once you finish the course you would have learnt many aspects of the Film Production. Placement could be in many areas like Film Making, Adversitising, Architectural Designs, Simulation.
