BCA or B.Sc Cs which is better before MCA

I want to do MCA. But, since before doing MCA, i need a bachelor degree, so i thought of BCA. But, there is no good govt. institute to pursue BCA. So, should I pursue BCA from a private college or should I do B.Sc CS from a good institute/university
