BCA or BSc in IT, which would be better for web designing and software making?

I agree with Debajit. BCA would be better for web designing and software making as there are subjects in BCA which are relevant to both Web designing and software making. A person can also join MCA afterwards for more knowledge in these fields. You can also SEE the curriculum of BCA match whether it suits you or not. Computer Application is a very dynamic field in which new technology is being invented with each passing day. Coping with this ever changing environment is not easy. But equipped with the most advanced syllabus BCA makes the student ready for the future. BCA is one of the most practical courses which enhances logical thinking and problem solving capabilities of students and that is what is required in the Industry. I have studied from PCTE Group of Institutes which is a great option to go for BCA. The college gives a lot of opportunities to explore both academically and you get to participate in a lot of activities. The best part is that PCTE gives practical exposure with the college and is able to bag 43 positions in the university examination. Not only this, the college has students from 42different countries which gives a global environment so you don't have to go out of the country to experience such a level of exposure and environment. Besides this, you don't have to look for companies once you have completed your course. The college provides decent placement opportunities for the students of every course. BCA students are placed in Companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture to name a few. Moreover, the college give you great opportunities to explore your talent, I had participated a lot in events and activities be it fashion shows, literary events like debate, group discussion, extempore and so on, I also got into canvas making competition from stage events to literary events to creative competition I have participated in all of them and believe it helped me a lot after my graduation I became more confident and always stood out of the crowd.

Hi, None of them actually helps to make you a professional software developer or a web designer. You need to go for separate courses for that. But, I would prefer BCA because it would be easier for MCA in future.
