being passionate about vehicles, Iam confused that whether to opt automobile or mechanical branch for b.tech. Please suggest

    Thanx @manmeet. Yashendra, There is hardly few subjects which differ in automobile and mechanical engineering, yet, by choosing automobile, you will restrict yourself to only private sector auto & ancillary manufacturers. In comparison, mechanical branch is a versatile branch and its engineers are required by govt, PSU, defense, power sector and private auto sector. Moreover, subjects like Internal combustion engines, heat mass transfer, auto CAD and machine design are taught in mechanical engg, which are automobile subjects.
    Therefore, I will suggest to opt for mechanical engineering.
