    Distance education, as the name suggests, is a method of implementing education to students living in distant places and cannot access further education.
    Now both pros and cons are attached to it. Convenient, Flexible, Available with accredited colleges, Lower costs, Own learning environment, no travel expenses and most important one can gain work experience with distance education at hand. However, flowery it might look, there are disadvantages too like no social interaction, lack of resources and help, learning styles, etc.

    Distance education is like knowledge delivered at your door step, which however you need to grasp using your own abilities as there is no regular class room sessions involved for injecting the knowledge by the teachers into the pupils. The main aim of distance education is to impart education to those people who do not have time to attend to the regular mode of education. The benifit is that they get the study material at their door step, are able to interact with the teachers / guides either through the net or when-ever they have time.
