Manish, like most of the people, I could tell you that XYZ is one of the best and go read online about it. I could tell you to search the youtube for 'best animation faculty' or 'best animation institute'. However these are only some of the methods of shortlisting. There is no such authentic one list of institutes that i can give you. All institute branches have same curriculum, like all states in India follow the same constitution. By same comparison all state progress differently and after a certain time the gap becomes huge. You could do well to create a list of places you may want to learn at, whether they are in your city or not. Then go to their websites and research about them, and even call them and talk to them. Try their website for more details. Typically go for a school which offers all the information including faculty on their website. Now shortlist some you want to visit. Do not hesitate to travel - this is about your life and career. After visiting those take a decision for yourself. Even if you have to travel to timbuctoo or chandigarh for that matter, it is important for your life, so do it. Dear Manish, I understand , being at Ranchi, its surely gives you advantage to do a course at same city. But if we speak about animation industry , then i feel its Mumbai , Chennai , Bangalore & Pune who are really doing good and growing fast in this aspect. Bangalore is the 1st City in India , which has its own animation policy by the government , which reflects government interest and support in this industry here at Bangalore . Now also Hyderabad is in the same list . Automatically bigger companies and industries are more interested to invest in these cities. Hope you must have heard about Dream works, it has only one branch in INDIA and its at Bangalore . The point behind saying all this , is , automatically here you get more professional , who shuffle between the production houses and academies . So automatically in these cities an institute get better faculties for their students . Ranchi is also a beautiful place well developed in lot many sector , but just think on the points i have mentioned , the time is a biggest investment , so its always better to choose the best , In case if you are interested to know about the best institutes at Bangalore , feel free to ask. Hi Manish, Nice to know your interest in the stream of animation, there are lot of institutes in ranchi and jharkhand but before choosing any center i would suggest you to visit some of the nearby centers to you place and even understand that after completing the course what job you will get and weather you have good jobs available in ranchi or not, If the job prospects are less there then i would suggest you to even explore yourself outside of the place. Animation is very creative industry and always welcomes fresher but the most important part is the quality of training you get because only that is something which can get you a job. all the best.
