Between B. Des and B.Sc. (costume design and fashion) Which one has more scope?

I have not seen any Institute is offering B. Des. Costume design and fashion course. However B.Sc. Costume design and fashion course if offers by many of Institutes. B. Des is four years of duration course while B.Sc. Is three years. Admission in B. Des are based on an entrance exam conducted by respective Colleges, While B.Sc. Admissions are mainly done on the basis of 12th marks. So in my opinion B. Des is better than B.Sc. If offers by any Institute because this covers the theoretical, practical and Industrial approach.

Hi Both the degrees are related to Design. But in B.Des you will learn about the core designing part only. In B.Sc. Fashion Design, you will learn Designing and technology too. You will cover various segments of designing and technology like surface ornamentation, illustration, draping, pattern making, textile Science, dyeing and printing, market management, apparel manufacturing, and many more. One most important thing is the institute from where you are completing your degree. That gives you exposure in practical learning and overall grooming.
