Between b.e.chemical in nit nagpur and b.e.metallurgy and materials in nit surathkal,trichy and warangal,which is better overall?please help

Hi Neeharika, Though Chemical Engg is more preferred branch over metallurgy and materials also options for chemical engg is more that MME but NITs in question here - Surathkal, Trichy & Warangal are top 3 NITs among all others across the country. Following was M.M.E placement percentage in these 3 colleges in 2014: NIT Surathkal - 84.85% (28 out of 33 students) NIT Trichy - 78.90% NIT Warangal - 85.97 (49 out of 57 students) NIT Nagpur Chemical Engg placement percentage - Was less than 45% in 2013 (41 out of 92 to be precise) Do proper research on the net before selecting bot the branch. Also try to speak to ex students of these institutes. Also you can ask to more Shiksha expert on the matter. Wish you all the very best.
