    IIT Bombay has a higher placement percentage for its undergraduate engineering students than IIT Delhi. The median salary for IIT Bombay's B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering graduates is INR 15 LPA, and the percentage of the batch placed is 99.09%. In comparison, according to the placement report of 2021, 1150 students of IIT Bombay received placements, and the total number of companies that visited the campus was 261. However, both institutions are among the best-reputed institutions in India and occupy a high rank in the NIRF rankings.

    IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay have excellent placement records. As per the placement report 2022, IIT Delhi achieved more than 1200 placements. More than 200 companies visited the campus for recruitment. The highest international package offered at IIT Delhi was Rs. 2 crore per annum. The highest domestic package was Rs.1 crore per annum. According to the placement report 2022, 1150 students of IIT Bombay received placements. The total number of companies that visited IIT Bombay campus was 261. The B.Tech.
