Bharathiar university, coimbatore is conducting courses in CPOP mode(CENTRE FOR PARTICIPATORY AND ONLINE PROGRAMMES). does it have value?

It is said that the Centre for Participatory and Online Programmes was established by the syndicate of Bharathiar University on 23-04-2008 in accordance with the provisions of Bharathiar University Act 1981. They say that it is equal to regular mode. The classes are conducted regularly.
