Biotechnology is a very vast subject. Bioinformatics is a part of biotechnology. Biotechnology has more scope than bioinformatics. Future of both streams is bright in India as they are 21st century science.
Bioinformatics deals in quantitative analysis of data in molecular biology
whereas biotechnology is basically genetic engineering, it deals in development of various bio products.
