yes it is since it involve mostly research oriented work..u r required to spend most of the time in labs

ya Biotech is perfect for Woman. IITs , NITs , NSIT Delhi , DTU Delhi , Delhi University Pune University , University of Mumbai is one of the best Colleges for Bio technology.
