Bit mesra is ranked under 15 among the indias top coleges by outlook india today etc then why do its cutt offs go low than other nits? why?

Because every top rankers want a govt clgs not a private clg . and one draw back of bits mesra is its a deemed autonomous university not supported by bits pilani . thats why students like it less but undoubtedly its a good clg with excellent managment
