But taking aptitude tests may put a lot pressure on students. I have experienced it. I am pursuing last year of B.Com. when i went for mba cet the questions were not related to the commerce stream in which most of the commerce students are interested. The best way to take decision is to ask the students themselves that in which field they are interested. None other way is beneficial to the students, parents n teachers also.

In my view, aptitude tests are a far better option than anything else. However, they should start when the child is in class VIII, so that they start forming an opinion about themselves. But, this is a step full of responsibilities and risks to be taken by those who take charge of it.When the time co

Well a very nice discussion and I think it will be a nice decision to allot streams on the basis of an aptitude test and not on the basis of the marks that they achieve!

there is a parental responsibility also as these students are tender in age.there is a craze for Medicine and Engineering.so, there must be rationality here.it is not a mechanical process, admitting students in Mathes Or Biology.so many avenues lie open.so,basing on performance and aptitude, decisio

After 10th students should consider enhancing their educational qualifications. One of the best approaches while deciding on the subjects/ stream is to opt for or look at doing something that they are good at and would enjoy. But if aptitude tests come into process, then there might be a possibility

However in the process, there are pros and cons attached as in few might get exactly what they wanted while others might tend to land in a field which is not at all at par with their interest. The aptitude tests would have nothing to do with their academics or performance in school; just a facility
