Branch for MTech after BE in ECE

i am doing BE in ECE branch.i am quite interested in Networking..i wrote gate 2013 ECE paper..cleared with rank 4095 now is it wise to choose networking for MTech?if so then which programming languages do i need?? do i need to do some extra certificate courses?if so then suggest me some courses.
