Can a 10th pass student take admission for Diploma in information technology? What percentage do I need to get admission?

Dear Sutej, Yes, of course the minimum qualification to get admission in Diploma engineering is 10th class & percentage required for admission is 45% minimum. For that, you will have to sit in entrance exam conducted by each state university.

Eligibility Criteria for taking admission is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10th, subject to qualifying entrance exam. Some institutes give direct admission to students on the basis of their marks in 10th. You can do it from : DTU, PTU, UPTU, LPU Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar Assam Don Bosco University, Guwahati College of Engineering Pune Lovely Professional University Hindustan Institute of Engineering Technology Chennai, Vellore Institute of Technology P. S. G. College of Technology Coimbatore.
