No, a 12th student can not take the CAT exam. The eligibility criteria to appear in the CAT exam is:
1. The applicant must have completed a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
2. To be eligible, students must have at least a 50% graduation rate. SC, ST, and PWD candidates, on the other hand, must have 45%.
3. If your university awards grades or CGPA, then the conversion factor given by the university has to be used.
4. You can also apply in your final year, but you will need a pass Certificate from the previous year to be eligible to appear for the CAT exam. -
Hello Shruti
According to the CAT exam eligibility, a candidate must have completed their graduation or be in the final year of their undergraduate degree. So, no, a 12th pass is not eligible to sit for CAT. Thank you. -
Hello Shruti, No, you can't because CAT is for pre-final year and graduate students only. Basically, CAT exam or the Common Admission Test is a computer-based MBA entrance test for admissions into the Iims and several other prestigious B-Schools in the Country. One can complete 10+2 and graduation then eligible for CAT examination. Hope it helps!
Thankyou:). .
