    Yes, candidates who are in their final semester or year of graduation are eligible to apply provisionally. However, if they are asked to come in for an interview, they must provide documentation that they meet the age, educational, and language proficiency requirements for RBI Assistants as well as proof that they have completed the graduation requirements. As of September 1, 2023, candidates shall be between the ages of 20 and 28. Only those who were born on or before February 9, 1995, and January 9, 2003, inclusive, are eligible to apply.     Candidates, who are in the final semester/year of graduation can also apply provisionally subject to the condition if called for an interview, they need to produce proof of having passed the graduation. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50 per cent marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on Personal Computer (PC). If a candidate is belonging to the Ex-servicemen category (except dependents of ex-servicemen) then they should either be a graduate from a recognised University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examin

RBI Assistant syllabus and SBI Clerk syllabus more or less comprises the same topics. However, there is a difference in the difficulty level. Both the exams are conducted for Clerical level posts. RBI Assistant exam is bit difficult than SBI Clerk exam. Both the exam comprises two stages of sekection process-prelims and Mains followed by the local language test. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are only counted for the final merit list.

Few important points related to RBI Assistant application form are given below:

  • Candidates should fulfill the eligibility criteria
  • Any candidate should submit not than one RBI Assistant application form
  • In case of multiple applications, only the latest valid (completed) application will be retained
  • Candidates should not send the hard copy of the application form to the examination authority
  • Admission to online test will be purely provisional without verification of documents
