Can a B.Sc home science student apply for M.Des in NIFT? Will it be difficult to study M.Des?

I am a home science graduate and I've taken admission in NIFT-Kannur. My session is starting from July. Will it be very much challenging for me to study with those highly educated students who are very good in fashion design and did B.Des?
