Can a commerce student apply for B.Sc economics? I am a student of class 12th.

    Hi Gayathri, if you have economics in 11th and 12th then there is no problem. You can apply and even some colleges accept commerce students for B.Sc economics.

    Hi Gayatri,
    A commerce student CAN-NOT apply for B.Sc in Economics. For that, the eligibility criteria is a student having 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics ( scoring equal to or above 60 marks in each) with high English Proficiency. However, you can go for B.Com/ BBA from good universities like Delhi University with colleges like SRCC, Hindu College etc.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
    (i)
    For admission to any of the First Degree programmes of BITS except B.Pharm.:Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and adequate proficiency in English.
    (ii)
    For admission to B.Pharm.:Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and adequate proficiency in English. However candidates with PCM may also apply for Pharmacy program.
