Can a commerce student apply for B.Sc in IT course?

Hello Nayan,
B.Sc. IT is a science related course and requires science background in 12th standard. Since, you don't satisfy this eligibility criteria, you are not eligible to pursue B.Sc. IT. However, if you had mathematics along with commerce in 12th standard, then you can appear for BCA.

That's incorrect. You cannot opt for B.Sc at this stage as you didn't have science in 12th.

As you belong to commerce background, you cannot pursue B.Sc IT. But, you can choose similar course such as:
1. BCA.
2. BBA (IT).

BCA will be having maths at some advanced level than XII for two semesters/one year.
Other than that, BBA course, any specialisation maybe finance, HR and IT involves basic maths like statistics, etc.
