If you are just asking that you can take Bsc IT as your career if you have commerce background then the answer is yes you can, but if you will study further like MCA or Msc IT then colleges will ask for math in +2 (only reputed colleges)

If it is in the distance mode then no problem but if it is in regular mode then we cant say because
you are from commerce background and in BSC your basic knowledge could be less as per regular science student

You can not take a turn at this stage.You have to go with Commerce.
