Can a compartment student get admission in the same year for engineering after clearing the compartment?

Yes, it is possible. If you clear the compartment exam, which is generally scheduled in the month of August, you can easily get admission in engineering colleges. Though, I am sure about the private colleges, I am not quite sure about IIT or NIT.
