Can a D Pharmacy graduate become a medical representative?

<p>D.Pharm pass outs can certainly become medical representatives because most pharmaceutical firms recruit candidates having a Diploma in pharmacy or even other life science disciplines. Medical representative starting salaries in India are usually between INR 2.5 Lacs and INR 4 Lacs per year, with the scope of progression to INR 5–8 Lacs per year with experience and performance. Leading pharma companies provide better packages along with a structured training program. Placement records for pharmacy courses in well-known colleges are usually high, from 60% to 90%, and average salary levels across pharma positions have risen after the pandemic to INR 3.9–6 Lacs per year. Basic knowledge of pharmacology and good communication skills and product knowledge are enough for D.Pharm graduates to obtain sound opportunities in the medical sales field.</p>
