Yes, a candidate who completes a Diploma after class 10 is usually eligible to appear for RUS-AT for lateral admission in B.Tech CSE program, provided that they meet the minimum eligibility criteria- Usually about 45–50% Diploma in aggregation. The lateral entry candidates are usually included in the second year, and about 20–30% of the total B.Tech seats are reserved for Diploma holders. Yes, a Diploma student who has pursued their Diploma after 10th grade can avail lateral entry B.Tech CSE in M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (MSRUAS). MSRUAS provides lateral entry B.Tech courses in 11 specializations in which Diploma students can join directly at second year level. Admission comes through the RUASAT entrance exam, or a valid RUASAT entrance exam score in KCET/COMEDK.
