6 years agoYes, a female candidate can apply for BE in fire engineering. In India, the number of institutions providing fire engineers is very less which raises the demand and package for such engineers.
For Female:
Minimum Height: 157. (Relaxable by 2.5 cms in the case of Garhwalls,
Assamese Gorkha and member of the Schedule Tribes.)
Weight : minimum. 46 kgs.
Medical standards:
a) Visual: Better eye 6/6 without aid (Eligible vision 6/6 only) Worse eye 6/12
b) Color Vision: - no color blindness.
