    YES it is possible. There is a provision in CBSE and many other education boards where the Medical students can write Mathematics examination also. For example: The eligibility criteria of Top notch University LPU is as follows:
    Qualifying Examination : Pass with 60%* aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics and English) subject to qualifying LPU NEST (B.Tech. ). Or JEE Mains
    A Special counselling schedule has been announced by LPU for benefit of deserving students. So, even if you are a medical student, but have written Mathematics exam also, you can pursue Engineering course of your choice, subject to meeting th

    A medical student can not do B.Tech in ECE. But nowadays by looking at the growth and versatility in the developing Industry of young India. UGC granted permission to offer a Few particular Engineering programs to medical students also. There are many courses that Medical students can do. Comprises of various disciplines like programmes of Sciences, Bio-Sciences and Applied Medical Sciences, Medical students can also do Engineering.     To my understanding Medical and engineering, the course is entirely different, you might do any medical course after completing your B.E in ECE but you can not join this field. Tech in ECE (Electronics and Communications Engineering) courses include Microprocessor, Electronics, and Communication, Analog Transmission, Digital Communication, Analog Communication, Satellite Communication, Wave Progression, Microwave Engineering, etc. Which is a completely different field as compared to medical.     Well, after opting for medical in your 12th standard, you have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology. So, in this case you can choose from Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Food Technology and Biomedical Engineering. There might be some institutes where ECE is offered to the medical students, but here I have details about Lovely Professional University.
