Most colleges do not accept foreign nationals in their MBBS programs, however there might be a few private or deemed universities which accept foreigners into their MBBS programs. NEET entrance exams conducted across the country requires its applicants to be Indian Nationals, and since most colleges accept only NEET scores for admissions in their MBBS programs, it might be necessary to obtain an Indian citizenship to study in top MBBS colleges in the country.
