Can a non-CS graduate (BA or B.Com) earn an MS degree in computer science? If yes, how should I prepare for this?
Asked about D.N.R College (DNRC, Andhra Pradesh) - M.Sc. in Computer Science
I have completed B.Com general group & want to study MS in computer science. I'm not interested in commerce & have chosen the wrong path. I'm very interested in computer science mainly programming. Is there any way to do M.Sc in computer science?

6 years agoI wish to address the Second Segment of your question where you have said that you are unhappy with B.Com and feel you have chosen wrong path.
I wish to clarify one thing that there is no need to feel like this. Your doing B.Com has certainly benefited you. fact is that being NON PCM you could.not get into BTech. bit it's nothing wrong for you. you can Join PG Diploma in Computer Applications and energy the world of computers. PG Diploma can be done only after Graduation.
Later you take MCA through this and them may try to be expert in Computer programming or any other IT/Computer domain.
