Can a person get a job of the assistant professor in a private engineering college of Rajasthan after completing MA in english?

I have done MA in english through distance education (Jaipur National University).

If you have pursued the Master's degree in Arts, then it will be beneficial to get the post of Assistant Professor in the same field so you should only apply for lectureship in the subject of your master's degree. To become eligible for the post of Assistant Professor you need to qualify the UGC NET
