  • Yes, a Pharm D course graduate can open a medical store, as long as they fulfill the required legal and regulatory obligations. In India, a pharmacy or medical store requires a pharmacy license from the state drug control authority.

    Pharm D course graduates are suitable candidates to run such shops because of their education in medication management, drug therapy, and patient care.

    However, they must still abide by the regulations in relation to selling medicines and other patient care services in that, keep records, documentation and abide by local pharmacy laws.
