No, I am sorry to break it to you that you won't be able to get a seat at 55k rank in VIT, Vellore or Chennai campus. I would suggest you keep your options open and keep alternatives.

Yes, you can get a seat in VIT with this rank, but not all branches seats will be available. Only a few that too in Category 4 or 5 will be available.

Hi, Is this a rank of VITEEE. If so, you might still be called for counseling. So, apply and wait for the results. But,unfortunately your rank is not really good enough to get a good branch at VIT. I hope this helps. All the Best.
