Can a registered ANM/GNM (general nursing & midwifery) from one state in India work in another state?

Yes but first you need to enrol with nursing council of specific state where you intend to practice.
Right now there's ongoing registration with Indian Nursing Council which will allow nurses to practice in any state without requirement of being registered with each state's nursing council.
