    Hello Varsha,
    Clearing JEE Mains is not a must in most of the states in India. JEE Mains enable your admission in NIT or IIT or CGFI. And of course, for some states who have declared this as their CET but many states conduct their own entrance exam and you can get admission via this.

    No this is absolutely a myth. You should be knowing that every year thousands of students from Bihar clear JEE Mains and advance and join top IITs. Your board doesn't matter your, JEE rank does.
