can a student after taking admission in B Tech 1st year is still eligible to appear in engineering entrance exams(IIT-JEE,AIEEE) next year

YA..Sure you can apply for the IIT-JEE.AIEEE exams..you could apply repeatedly the year after the other.But you should apply in the consecutive years.you can surely apply a number of times(depends on your category).Go ahead.All the best
