Can a student enroll at IGNOU for BA in the end of the session if he couldn't join earlier?

Asked about IGNOU - Indira Gandhi National Open University - B.Sc. (Hons.) in Anthropology

I am a student of Calcutta University and doing BA. Due to lack of attendance, I am not allowed to give my first-year exams under CU, can I get admission so that my 1-year will be saved?
