No, in SIOM only engineering background students can apply.

According to SIOM Nashik website, a student from commerce background can't apply for Nashik as it only for the students of Science background exclusively to engineers. Or, who are desired for pursuing MBA. The eligibility criteria for SIOM is that the candidate must hold minimum a Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 50 % of marks. Or the candidates appearing for the final year of BE/B.Tech and those who have completed the degree and are awaiting for the results can apply.
