Can a student get a scholarship in LPU if he scores more than 8 CGPA in an academic year?

Taslim, no such scholarship is there. Only a certificate and memento of honour is given to the topper.

Dear student Scholarships are available in all the Programs of the University, ranging from Diploma to Ph.D. Students have been awarded scholarships worth Rs. 100+ crores in last year only. The Lovely professional University provides scholarships on different basis like: Percentage in previous Qualifying exam LPUNEST NATIONAL LEVEL TEST Sports scholarship Cultural and Co-curriculum scholarship Research and Development Defense Scholarship Special Scholarship for Toppers of Education Board Scholarship for Person with Certain Disability Financial aids to Orphans Need based scholarship A student avails scholarship while taking admission in LPU. If you have good percentage marks above 80% in 10+2 you can get scholarship on the basis of previous qualification for the admission in LPU. Where as the scholarship that you are asking about is not available in LPU.

Lovely Professional University strongly believes in the fact that monetary constraints should not be an obstacle for a student to have access to quality education. So, the University extends the Scholarship and Financial Aid Scheme which is an initiative by the University to cultivate the talent of students that may be hidden due to financial constraints. Scholarship/ Financial Aid can be availed in all the Programmes of the University, ranging from Diploma to Ph.D. In the last seven years, University has offered Scholarships/ Financial Aid worth 500+ Crores. The scholarship will generally be awarded on the basis of previous performance in academics, culture, sports, or other activities or under specific scholarship schemes category for a particular section of students. You can avail of 100% scholarship on the basis of Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service, and Bravery Awards Scholarship applicable on the basis of Qualifying exam National Level Test LPUNEST exam Sports Cultural R & D Co-curricular Social Service Bravery Awards Special Scholarship for Toppers of Education Board Scholarship for Orphan Applicants/Single girl child (Need-Based) Scholarship for Person with Certain Disability Students who have topped their board examination of eligibility qualification (10th or 10+2 as applicable) and are among the top 20 merit holders, may avail scholarships of full tuition fee waiver and hostel fee waiver which is applicable to four-seater air-cooled rooms.
