Can a student get admission call from IIMs, FMS and IITs if he has completed B.Tech in 5 years but scored above 95 percentile in CAT?

    Yes, but for FMS you will need above 99.5 percentile.

    Yes.
    The minimum eligibility criteria is that the student should have passed in UG with at least 60%. Completing B.Tech in 5 years may cause problem during PI but if the candidate is able to convince the panel it won't cause problem. Some of the Iims such as IIM Ahmedabad gives more emphasis on academic performance. So for IIM A if the marks in 10th, 12th and Graduation are less, then the candidate might not get a call despite scoring 99.99 percentile. The CAT cutoff for Old IIMs and FMS remains more than 99 percentile for general category. However, it may vary depending upon the academic diversity, gender diversity and work experience.

    The main thing in IIMs that the scoring percentile may be easy upto some extent but the interview and GD is quite difficult in that.

    You shall know that only CAT score will not let you in IIMs. Journey to IIMs is bit difficult, since my fellow mate did score 97 %ile in CAT exam but he couldn't get into any of the IIMs.
