Can a student give improvement exam of 12th standard (CBSE) if he/she had a compartment?

    Hi,
    A student cannot appear for improvement exam, if anyone have compartment in that particular subject. One should have Minimum marks of passing as per the particular state board regulations, than he/ she can sit for improvement exam.
