Can a student having 80% in 10+2 get admission in B.Com(Hons.)?

Hello Amirhamza, It is quite difficult to get into SRCC for B.Com with 80% (aggregate marks). But nothing can be said with certainty unless the cut off list comes. Everything depends upon the cut off list. Percentage of best 4 subjects (BFS) is considered, so there is hope. For the general category, the cut-off starts from 98% and reduces to only 95% in the end. * You can hope to get in SRCC with 80% aggregate but it is difficult if 80% is your BFS%. * With 80 %, you can get admission ONLY if you have one of these quotas: SC/ST, OBC, Defence, Handicap. * Try to score as good as you can because SRCC is the topmost institute. Cut off even for the students belonging to a quota, is not as low as 70%. This means cut-off will be higher than other colleges, it won't be as low as one expects. You have to work hard regardless of these factors. All the best!

The general category percentage usually don't go so low. But if you have any quota, you can.
