Can a student outside Andhra Pradesh opt for Andhra Pradesh EAMCET?

Yes, anyone being in any part of the country can be a part of the prestigious EAMCET exams. Though you might face some obstruction as there may be some fee waiver schemes and special reservation for Andhra Pradesh students and a student from outside has to fight the same as general category students fight in JEE Mains and advance but when the question is about the restriction, definitely not and you can freely be a part of the exam.

Candidates should be the National resident of India. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders are eligible to apply for Andhra Pradesh EAMCET 2022.

Hi there, Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Entrance Test commonly known as TS EAMCET 2018 is a state level entrance exam. TS EAMCET 2018 is going to organize most probably in the month of May 2018. Here is the eligibility criteria No non-domiciled students cannot opt for EAMCET. First of all, candidates must satisfy their eligibility before applying TS EAMCET 2018 examination. The eligibility criteria may vary for different courses. General criteria: 1) Indian citizen can apply.2) Candidates of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holder may also eligible to apply. 3) Candidate must possess the domicile of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh state. Applicant should clear 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology as optional subjects. They must pass the qualifying examination with minimum of 45% marks (40% in case of candidates from SC/ST category) in the subjects specified altogether at 10+2 pattern. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination may also apply. Diploma passing or appearing applicants can also apply. Candidates should have attained 16 years as on 31st December of the admission year. There is no provision of upper age limit. Hope this helps.

Andhra Pradesh EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada every year for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes across the state engineering college. University has specified Andhra Pradesh EAMCET 2017 eligibility criteria for admissions to UG Programs. Candidates seeking admissions to engineering programmes through Andhra Pradesh EAMCET 2017 need to fulfill eligibility criteria of Andhra Pradesh EAMCET 2017 related to academic qualification, age criteria and others. 1. For B.Tech/B.E., the candidates must be at least 16 years of age on December 31 of the admission year. There is no upper age limit 2. Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders. 3. Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with mathematics, physics and chemistry as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of engineering and technology So a student from outside state can appear in this exam but almost 85% of seats are reserved for state category or local student so this make competition really tough.
